Want your car to sound like a V6, V8, V10 or V12? Our exhaust sound system gives you the sound of a performance engine using speakers, without changing or replacing your exhaust.

It’s an ideal option for cars where a traditional exhaust modification isn’t practical including vehicles where you want to keep the original exhaust due to manufacturer warranty requirements or simply don’t want to make any mechanical changes to the car.

We fit the system at our workshop in Aston, Birmingham, and set everything up with you before you drive away.

The system has two main parts: a control unit that reads your car’s engine data, and one or two speakers fitted discreetly at the rear of the vehicle. The sound you choose responds to your driving, rising and falling naturally with your revs and throttle from the bark at start-up to the burble at idle and the sound under acceleration.

Your original exhaust stays exactly as it is. There’s no replacement exhaust, no engine modification and no change to the way your engine operates.

You can choose the sound you want and change it whenever you like using the app on your phone.

The beauty of the system

If you want a louder, more exciting exhaust sound but don’t want to alter the car mechanically, this gives you another option. Because the system works through speakers rather than modifying the engine or exhaust, it can be particularly useful for newer or manufacturer-warrantied vehicles where you want to avoid physical exhaust modifications.

What you get

Over 20 engine sounds

V6, V8, V10, V12 and more, taken from well-known sports cars. New sounds are added over time, and you can swap between them in seconds.

Follows your right foot

The control unit reads the car’s own engine data, so the sound builds as the revs rise and settles when you lift off, like a real exhaust.

You set the volume

Turn it up for a weekend drive, down for the school run, or off altogether. Pops and bangs, the start-up sound and the idle are all adjustable too.

One speaker or two

One speaker gives a deep, clean note. Two give a louder, fuller sound for bigger cars.

Fitted out of sight

The speaker sits under the rear of the car or in the spare wheel well, in a sealed metal housing built for life under a car.

Moves to your next car

When you change car, the system can come out and go into the next one.

Which cars?

Most cars from 2025 onwards can be fitted with the system, whether petrol, diesel or electric. Newer cars have more restrictions, especially petrol and diesel models fitted with OPF/GPF and other emissions systems, making traditional exhaust modifications more difficult.

It’s also a great option for electric cars, where many owners want a more exciting sound without changing how the car works.

Tell us your make and model and we’ll confirm whether the system is suitable before you book.

How it works

  1. Get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or online, with your make and model.
  2. We fit the control unit and the speaker at our Aston workshop, out of sight.
  3. We set up the app on your phone, pick a sound with you and set the volume before you drive away.

Questions we get asked

Is it the same as a loud exhaust?

No. Your exhaust stays as it is and the sound comes from the speaker, so it is only as loud as you set it, and you can turn it off.

Can I change the sound later?

Yes. Pick a different sound in the app whenever you like, from over 20.

Does it work on a diesel?

Yes. Diesels are where it makes the biggest difference: a diesel SUV can sound like a V8.

Can it be taken off?

Yes. It can come out again, and go into your next car.

How much does it cost?

That depends on the car and on one speaker or two. Call us with your make and model for a price.

Can I hear it first?

Yes. Come to the workshop at 117 Bracebridge Street, Aston, and hear the sounds on a car before you decide.
